Where is God?

And…Why are there so many Gods?

One god, two gods, more gods, no god. Old gods, new gods…

Temples, prayers, sacrifices and chants… we tried them all.

Centuries had passed and we are still lost, abandoned and confused.

Tortured by the existence itself, no god can save men from his fate.

For gods are stories that we tell, sprouts of our thirsty mind.

A hopeless shout for meaning in an empty Universe.

Times have changed and deities have passed.

We tied: permutations, alterations, modifications, theories, axioms

We dream of that age when we would know …why?

Pride is the sin of men, for he thinks he is wise but merely a fool.

One story says that tired of the crying of men, God decided to hide,

He hid in the mountains but men found Him,

He hid in the plants but men found Him,

He hid in the animals but men found Him,

He hid in the temples but men found Him,

He hid in the heart of men but men didn’t find Him.
