People struggle to find a purpose, a why that pushes them. Most of the times we are pulled to do what we do in our daily lives. What we love doing can be an answer to the question of meaning, but not always.

I think one should pursue things that are meaningful to him/she, and that is hard work as you said, and is not rosy at all. But that is the catch when you have a why to bear your burden hard work seems normal.

After a while, you start loving the things you put effort, and time into.
