It’s very difficult to practice mindfulness in a world where your senses are overly excited by external stimuli. Thus many people have troubles recognizing their true essence or paying attention to who they are, the patterns within which they are operating and replicate.
I think we are our actions more than our thoughts and emotions. I see actions as the manifestation of our socio-cultural background and our mind (logic &feelings), and yes by changing your mind you experience a shift in your perceptions deeds are the one that truly transforms reality.
